P'snap is a little program that written in Ruby and stays in notification area and shows last 10 releases which announced yet. P'snap has written in Ruby and developed with both Ruby/Tk and Ruby/Gtk. Also REXML was used, too.

You need these libs to run p'snap:

libgtk-trayicon-ruby1.8 - system tray protocol library for Ruby 1.8
libtcltk-ruby - Tcl/Tk interface for Ruby
libruby1.8 - Libraries necessary to run Ruby 1.8
librexml-ruby - pure Ruby non-validating XML parser supporting Namespaces, XPath
